America's ocean fish are not only getting smaller, they're also disappearing at an alarming rate. In a new online video, a familiar law enforcement officer provides a light-hearted look at the serious subject of "empty nets syndrome" and how the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) actually intends to make it worse.

NOAA Fisheries has announced plans to open ocean ecosystems to overfishing with impunity. If NOAA's proposed rule changes become final, a fundamental marine conservation measure called National Standard 1 will be stripped of its ability to protect the nation's fish populations. New! NOAA Fisheries has announced that it may reconsider its proposed changes to NS1, because of an unprecedented number of public comments opposing the revisions.
